Editor for Chemical Structural Formulars

I am currently working on a command based editor for Chemical Structures. The user interface will consist of a simple display portion showing the structure as it is edited and a command field for entering editing commands. These commands will mostly be wrapers around the functions used for editing the data types internally. The individual atoms will be referenced by IDs.

Multiple viewing modes will be available for displaying the different attributes of the atoms.
